Imprisoned Rage

Imprisoned rage locked far away
Deep within me it tried to stay
For decades it remained contain
With way too much unresolved pain
Tried deftly to keep it at bay
But it spewed out like molten clay
When it could no longer retain
Imprisoned rage

Destroying some lives every day
This rage can cause social decay
Leaving the soul weary and drain
Even cause some to go insane
When the state of mind goes astray
